No Classes Tomorrow September 27, 2011 from DepEd, Could Extend Until Thursday

Suspension of classes advisory from DepEd_PH due to Typhoon Pedring:

"PEDRING" has slightly intensified as it continues to threaten Isabela-Aurora Area.Pedring is expected to make landfall over Casiguran, Aurora early tomorrow morning Tuesday afternoon and will be in the vicinity of Baguio City Wednesday afternoon.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 - 25 mm per hour within the 650 km diameter of the typhoon.

Typhoon Pedring is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today and the hourly updates.
